NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt and Connecticut will face off in 2021 at Vanderbilt Stadium, both schools announced Wednesday. The contest replaces Vanderbilt’s previously announced matchup with Houston.
The 2021 matchup will be the fourth between the two programs and first since 2011 when the Commodores used a fourth-quarter comeback and game-winning field goal with 2:56 left to outlast the Huskies, 24-21. Vanderbilt leads the all-time series 2-1.
Vanderbilt’s 2021 nonconference home schedule also features visits from East Tennessee State and Stanford.
