ATHENS, Ga. — Vanderbilt swimming concluded the SEC Championships Saturday with seven career-low performances and a near-record relay at Gabrielsen Natatorium.
“I’m really proud of everybody and the work we put in over the course of the year, to have the kind of meet that we did is extremely fulfilling. Today was a good way to cap off the week,” head coach Jeremy Organ said. “We’ll go to a last-chance meet with most of the team next weekend just to have another opportunity to race, hopefully we’ll ensure that Kailia [Utley] will make it to NCAAs. We’ll see what we can get done next week and have some fun racing.”
The Commodores will be back in action Friday-Saturday next weekend at the Last Chance meet in Knoxville, Tennessee.
