Former Commodore Oren Burks turned heads at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis over the weekend, posting times and measurements among the best linebackers competing.

Burks was impressive on Sunday beginning with a 4.59 40-yard dash, the seventh-best time among linebackers. The Fairfax Station, Va. native showed off his athleticism in the jumps, posting a 39.5-inch vertical – second-best among linebackers – and a position-leading 10’11” in the broad jump. Burks showcased his quickness in the 3-cone drill with a 6.82 – third-best among LBs – and 20-yard shuttle with a time of 4.15 – second-best among LBs. Overall, Burks posted times and measurements in the top 10 of every event except the bench press, where he finished in a tie for 14th with 19 reps of 225 pounds.
