Biddle Joins Soccer Staff

Rachel Biddle enters first season as director of operations

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt soccer head coach Darren Ambrose announced the addition of Rachel Biddle to his staff on Tuesday. Biddle will join the program as the director of operations.

“Rachel brings a wealth of management and business experience from outside of college athletics,” said Ambrose. “She has tremendous interpersonal skills and is a wonderful addition to our staff.”

Out of Lindsey, Ontario, Biddle joins the program after spending a large part of her career as general manager at several boutique fitness studios in Nashville, combining her passion for sports and wellness. Some of her responsibilities included overseeing daily operations, driving sales, community outreach and programming.

“I’m incredibly excited to be back working in athletics and to join Vanderbilt’s Soccer program as director of operations,” Biddle stated. “It’s an honor to be part of such a respected team, and I look forward to supporting our student athletes and coaching staff and contributing to the program’s continued success.”

Before moving to Nashville in 2014, Biddle served as the head women’s water polo coach for Grove City College. In college, Biddle played soccer and water polo at Mercyhurst University, where she graduated with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in exercise science.

Biddle and her husband, Jeff, live in Nashville with their two dogs, Sammie and Marlin.
