TULSA, Okla. – Vanderbilt’s men’s tennis team continued play at the D’Novo/ITA All-American Tennis Championships on Thursday as the Commodores’ doubles team of Adam Baker and Alex Zotov began play in the main draw of doubles competition.
Ranked No. 12 in the nation, Baker and Zotov advanced to the round of 16 with a 9-8 (9-7) win over Indiana’s duo of Jeremy Langer and Maxime Armengaud.
The duo of Baker and Zotov are seeded No. 7 in the tournament and will play Auburn’s tandem of Tim Puetz and Alex Stamchev in the second round on Friday.
