• This will be the first meeting between the two programs

The Opponent
• Rider enters Tuesday’s matchup 4-3 overall, coming off 16-12 win over Akron
• 2025 marks just the second season of Rider lacrosse, they finished 8-7 overall during its inaugural campaign
• The Broncos lead their conference in draw control percentage (.626), draw controls per game (17.00) and shots per game (30.71) while having the second-best scoring offense (12.71), points per game (18.14) and assists per game (5.43) in the MAAC

The Scouting Report
• Senior attacker Selena Carrington was selected as MAAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after scoring five goals and added an assist in Rider’s 16-12 victory over Akron. Tied 10-10 to enter the final frame, Carrington scored the game winner that put the Broncs on top for good
• Katie Walsh leads the Broncos with 26 points on the year off 22 goals and four assists. Carrington is second with 21 point off 18 goals and three assists. Walsh leads the MAAC in the draw control per game category with 7.29 and goals per game with 3.14
• Freshman Elizabeth Shean scored two goals and added two assists as the Broncs defeated Iona 14-7 last week, earning MAAC Rookie of the Week honors for the second consecutive week

Last Time Out for the Dores
• Vanderbilt fell 8-20 against JMU in its conference opener while having four scorers on the day. The Dores were led by Jaime Biskup, who posted her third hat trick of the season, 13th career. Biskup dished one assist to bring her point total to team-high four on the day
• Nancy Halleron found the back of the cage twice for the Dores, her fourth straight game with multiple scores and earning AAC Honorable Mention on Monday
• Brooke Baker added three points off two goals and an assist, scoring multiple goals in every game this season but one. Kemper Robinson added a goal and dished an assist and two caused turnovers while grabbing a ground ball and draw control for the black and gold

2025 SuperFan Award
• Vanderbilt announced its recipient of the Robert Nesi Super Fan Award to General Scott Brower
• General Brower currently serves as the Bass Military Scholars program director at Vanderbilt. He began leading the program in 2021 and it provides scholarships to honorably discharged military service members seeking advanced degrees in law, medicine, business, and education
• He meets regularly with the lacrosse leadership council of about a dozen members of the lacrosse team to engage the Commodores in dialogue about principles of leadership, calling on his nearly 30 years of experience leading men and women in the Army, which culminated in his time as the acting senior commander for the 101st Airborne Division and Fort Campbell
• The team chose to award General Brower to be this year’s Robert Nesi Super Fan Award recipient not only for his lessons in leadership but also for the example he sets by caring about what happens when the leadership lesson ends
• The Robert Nesi Award was established in 2020 to celebrate people who significantly contribute to the Vanderbilt lacrosse program and support student-athletes on and off the field. The award is named in memory of the late Robert Nesi, father of former Vanderbilt lacrosse standout Gabby Nesi, whose unconditional love for his daughter and the Vanderbilt lacrosse family inspired and uplifted everyone he came in contact with
