NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In conjunction with the Southeastern Conference, Vanderbilt has announced its 2023 football schedule. The Commodores will open the season on Aug. 26, hosting Hawai’i at FirstBank Stadium.
Vandy will also host Alabama A&M during the nonconference slate and will travel to Wake Forest and UNLV. In conference play, Kentucky, Missouri, Georgia and Auburn visit Nashville, while the Commodores travel to Florida, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee.

· Vanderbilt and Hawai’i will meet for the second time after the Commodores won the 2022 season opener in Honolulu, 63-10
· The Commodores have played Alabama A&M once, a 42-0 victory in Nashville in 2017
· The UNLV game at Allegiant Stadium will be Vandy’s first in an NFL stadium since the Texas Bowl to cap the 2018 season
· Vandy owns a 10-7 series edge over Wake Forest
· Vanderbilt and Auburn, the 2023 rotating opponent from the SEC West, have tied the all-time series, 21-21-1, while the Commodores have won two of the last three meetings
