NASHVILLE — Marina Alex is perhaps the most decorated women’s golfer in Vanderbilt history. She was a two-time SEC Women’s Golfer of the Year, a two-time First Team All-American and once won the SEC individual championship as a Commodore during a career from 2008-12. Now Alex is a pro golfer on the LPGA Tour, having won her first individual professional event at the Camba Portland Classic in September.
The Commodore Insider Podcast caught up with Alex to reflect on her Vanderbilt career, assess the differences between college and professional golf, recall her journey to Vanderbilt and much more.
