The contest featured 15 members of the Nashville media randomly paired with members of the men’s basketball squad. Head Coach Kevin Stallings and former Commodore and current Video Operations Director James Strong also participated in the event.

Kalis’ consistency beyond the arc was unmatched by his peers. Terrell also made numerous treys, including one that broke a tie to send the pair to the finals. The Kalis-Terrell tandem made 6-of-10 attempts in the final round to outlast the duo of The Tennessean sportswriter Bryan Mullen and senior guard/forward Corey Smith.

Other groups that advanced to the semifinal round included The City Paper sportswriter Tony Lane and freshman guard Alex Gordon; WTVF-TV videographer Brian McKeegan and junior guard Mario Moore; and WTVF-TV sportscaster Eric Yutzy and junior forward LaBraun Andrews.

Kalis received an autographed Vanderbilt game jersey for his victory.
