-Vanderbilt held an 18-17 advantage after the first quarter, shooting 37 percent (7-for-19) from the field.
-Chelsie Hall and Mariella Fasoula each contributed six points with Hall adding four of Vanderbilt’s five assists.
-Vanderbilt forced four turnovers in a span of three minutes, taking a 10-8 advantage on a Chelsie Hall pull-up bucket.
Second Quarter: Vanderbilt 44, Tennessee State 30
-Vanderbilt held TSU without a point over the last 3:53 of the half, taking a 44-30 lead into the intermission.
-VU’s 26 points were the most in a second quarter this season, surpassing its previous high of 23 against North Alabama (Nov. 6).
-The Commodores limited the Tigers to 1-of-9 from the field entering the break while putting together a 6-0 run over 3:18.
-Cierra Walker drilled a 3-pointer and was fouled with just over 8:30 to play in the frame, pushing VU’s lead to 25-19.
-Walker drained another from behind the arc as the Dores used a 10-0 run over 1:29 to up their lead to 30-19.
Third Quarter: Vanderbilt 67, Tennessee State 47
-Vanderbilt shot 55.6 percent (10-for-18) from the field in the third quarter, outscoring TSU, 23-18.
-The Commodores limited the Tigers to just four field goals alongside a 26.7 percent field goal percentage in the third quarter.
-Chelsie Hall led all scorers with nine points in the third quarter and matched TSU with four made field goals in the frame.
-Vanderbilt held TSU without a point over 2:20, extending its lead to 20 points with just over six minutes left in the third quarter.
Fourth Quarter: Vanderbilt 89, Tennessee State 63
-Vanderbilt sunk 8-of-10 free throws for a second consecutive quarter, helping pull away from Tennessee State.
-The Commodores held TSU without a field goal over the last 2:36 and without a 3-pointer (0-for-5) in the final quarter.
-VU committed just one turnover in the fourth quarter and finished with nine in the game.
Inside the Lane
-Chelsie Hall recorded her first career double-double. The guard set a new season high with seven assists in the first half alone and finished with 10 total while matching a season high with 23 points.
-Hall set a new season high with six rebounds, besting her previous mark of five against Middle Tennessee (Nov. 9, 2018).
-Hall scored 20-plus points for the second time this year (Nov. 9 at Middle Tennessee) and collected her 25th career double-digit game.
-For the second time this season – and first since Nov. 12 – at least four Commodores scored in double-figures.
-Cierra Walker added a season-high five rebounds and scored in double-figures for the third time in four games.

-Vanderbilt freshman Isabella Paldrmic made her Commodore debut, playing 11 minutes while bringing home one rebound.
-The win snapped a two-game losing streak for Vanderbilt.
-Vanderbilt has now won 13 consecutive games against Tennessee State and leads the all-time series 15-2.
