Alex pursues LPGA card

2012 graduate Marina Alex continues her push for her LPGA card on the Symetra Tour, and is in excellent position to achieve that status. Alex, who is fifth on the money list after 12 events on the tour, has two events remaining this season and needs a top 10 finish on the money list to garner full-time status on the LPGA Tour.

Alex recently received an exemption into the LPGA’s Safeway Classic Presented by Coca-Cola August 29-September 1, and missed the cut by one stroke.

The two events left on the Symetra Tour are the Volvik Championship September 20-22 in Kissimmee, Fla., and the Symetra Tour Championship September 26-29 in Daytona Beach, Fla.
