The 16th-ranked Vanderbilt women’s golf team takes part in their third fall tournament of the season when they travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., to participate in the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational this Friday through Sunday at the UNC Finley Golf Course.
The UNC Finley Golf Course will be set up as a par-73, 6,379-yard format this weekend, and will feature 10 teams in the Golfweek top 25.
The Commodores will be joined by #4 Oklahoma, #7 Arkansas, #10 Duke, #12 North Carolina, #13 Alabama, #14 North Carolina State, #17 South Carolina, #19 Clemson, #23 Florida, Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Michigan State, LSU, Baylor, Auburn, and Virginia.
Participating for Vanderbilt this weekend is junior Kendall Martindale, sophomores Jenny Hahn and Morgan Ransom, and freshmen Antonia Scherer and Simin Feng. Senior Rene Sobolewski will be competing as an individual.
18 holes will be played each day, with the Commodores’ first tee time set for 9:09 a.m. ET
