The 12th-ranked Vanderbilt women’s golf team travels to Chapel Hill., N.C., for the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational this Friday through Sunday at the UNC Finley Golf Course. This weekend’s field will feature 10 of the top 25 teams in the nation.
Teams Participating
Vanderbilt will compete with North Carolina, South Carolina, LSU, Rollins College, Auburn, Louisville, Duke, Michigan State, Virginia, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Oregon, and Oklahoma.
Competing for the Commodores
The Commodores will send senior Kendall Martindale, juniors Morgan Ransom and Jennifer Hahn, sophomore Antonia Scherer, and freshman Cindy Ha.
About the Course and Tournament
The UNC Finley Golf Course will be set up as a par-72, 6,379-yard format for the weekend. Fifty-four holes will be played in all, with 18 holes being played on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
