Vanderbilt women’s golf coach Greg Allen has announced the signing of Courtney Zeng to a National Letter of Intent and will be eligible to begin competition for the Commodores in the fall of 2015.

Zeng comes to Vanderbilt from First Academy in Orlando, where she is ranked as the 28th player in the class of 2015 according to the Golfweek Junior Golf Rankings. She captured the AJGA Golf Pride/David Leadbetter Junior Classic in June of 2014, while also winning three Florida Junior Tour events and finishing in the top five in two others.

“We couldn’t be happier about Courtney joining our program and family,” said Vanderbilt head coach Greg Allen. “She is exactly what we look for when we go out recruiting — a great student, a great player but more importantly, a wonderful person full of personality that has a passion for life and a desire to get better every day. I look for Courtney to make a huge impact in the Vanderbilt community the minute she steps on campus in August.”
