After a cool and rainy day of play at the Champions Course at Bryan Park, the Commodore women’s golf team is now in ninth place with a total of 608 (299-309). Senior Megan Grehan shot a four-over par, 76, to lead Vanderbilt on Saturday.
Grehan is in a tie for 13th place on the individual leaderboard with a score of 148 heading into the final round on Sunday. Duke’s Laetitia Beck has the individual lead with a one-under par, 143, after posting a one-under par, 71, on Saturday. Beck has a two stroke lead on Virginia’s Calie Nielson and Wake Forest’s Michelle Shin.
The Demon Deacons vaulted to the top of the leaderboard with a second-round 295 on Saturday, and now has a total of 589. Wake Forest has a one-stroke lead on Tennessee, the first-round team leader.
