The Vanderbilt women’s golf team heads to Hilton Head, S.C., and the Long Cove Club this weekend to take part in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate with some of the nation’s top collegiate programs.
The Commodores will compete with Alabama (5), Arkansas (13), Arizona State (8), Auburn, Baylor (22), Duke (19), Furman (6), Georgia (7), LSU, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Oklahoma State (15), South Carolina (11), Tennessee, Virginia, and Wake Forest (12) this Friday through Sunday.
Eighteen holes will be played each day at the Long Cove Club, which will be set up as a par-71, 6,218 yard format.
Vanderbilt will send senior Kate Sborov, junior Alexandra Farnsworth, sophomore Courtney Zeng, and freshmen Alison Armstrong and Abbey Carlson.
