Vanderbilt women’s golfer Marina Alex is in a tie for 98th after two rounds of the NCAA Championship at Caves Valley Golf Club in Maryland with a score of 160 (79-81).

Alex, who teed off Wednesday afternoon on hole #1, went out with a five-over 41 and came in at four-over 40 to post a nine-over par, 81, for the round. The freshman had one birdie, five bogeys, and two double-bogeys in her round Wednesday.

Maria Jose Uribe of UCLA leads all individuals with a three-under par, 141, and shot a six-under 66 in her round on Wednesday. Nannette Hill of Wake Forest, Lisa McCloskey of Pepperdine, and Stephanie Sherlock of Denver are in a tie for second, two strokes back at one-under par.

Alex will tee off at 8:20 a.m. EST on Thursday for her third round.
