NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The women’s basketball team returns to the court after a two-week break hosting local rival Tennessee State (4-7) at 7 p.m. Friday. The Commodores (8-2) will play their first home game since a 78-41 victory over Radford on Dec. 2.
The ‘Dores most recent action consisted of a two-game road trip to California. Coach Melanie Balcomb’s squad split a pair of decisions against Golden State foes, with an 83-67 win against Cal State-Fullerton and a 50-47 loss to UC-Irvine on Dec. 4 and 6.
