The day Bobby Johnson retired

There is no doubt in my mind that Vanderbilt University will do nothing less than rise above the adversity that stands before us today, tomorrow and throughout the season. There’s a reason this great University has been around since 1873. We’ve had coaches leave to serve our great country. We’ve had coaches leave for so called “better jobs.” But there’s one thing I know. There is no better place to be on a fall Saturday afternoon than Dudley field watching the greatest conference in America display their talents. At the end of this day, not much else will be different than having a new coach. At the end of the day we are still a great academic school in a fantastic city. We are the SEC. We are Nashville, and most importantly, WE ARE VANDERBILT.
