Starting Lineups
– Vanderbilt started senior Jermaine Beal, sophomore Brad Tinsley and sophomore Jeffery Taylor at guard, sophomore Andre Walker started at forward and junior A.J. Ogilvy started at center.

– Kentucky won the opening tip and scored the first basket of the game. Vanderbilt is 9-1 on the season when losing the opening tip and 9-2 when their opponent scores the first basket of the game.
– The streak continues… With Jermaine Beal’s three-pointer at the 19:15 mark of the first half, Vanderbilt extended its consecutive games streak with at least one three-pointer made to 749… VU is one of three schools (UNLV and Princeton) that have made at least one three-pointer in every game played since the three-point line was established for the 1986-87 season … Only UNLV (757) has a longer streak than Vanderbilt.
