Vanderbilt rising senior Lauren Stratton and rising sophomore Kendall Martindale shot a combined eight-over par in the final round of the Pure Silk Collegiate Team Championship at the Wedgewood Golf & Country Club in Powell, Ohio, to finish in a tie for fifth.
Stratton and Martindale each shot a four-over par, 76, in the aggregate format Thursday. A.J. Newell and Erica Popson of the University of Tennessee fired an even par score of 144 to come away with the team championship.
