NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A pair of Commodores will join the Vanderbilt volleyball roster in 2026, head coach Anders Nelson announced Wednesday.

“Jordin (Southall) and Madi (Victoriano) are dynamic, athletic players whose quickness and explosiveness make them exciting additions to our program,” Nelson said. “Jordin led her Osceola team to multiple deep state tournament runs, and Madi’s club teams have captured multiple national championships.”

While attending Osecola High School and playing for the GamePoint Volleyball Club, Southall was named a top 30 recruit and four-time club All-American by Prep Volleyball. Additionally, she garnered all-region honors for indoor and beach volleyball and was named to the all-state team.

Off the court, Southall is a member of the National Honor Society, Principal’s List, Honor Roll and has earned all-academic honors. She also volunteers with Feed the Homeless and as a volleyball camp coach for her club and high school teams. Additionally, Southall serves as a youth tutor and GamePoint Volleyball Club big sister.

Hailing from Frisco, Texas, Madi Victoriano is a 5’ 9” setter, who plays for Dallas Skyline Juniors. The 2024-25 District 10-5A MVP and 2022-23 Newcomer of the year, Victoriano and her club teams are three-time USAV GJNC Open winners and the 2023 Triple Crown champions. On the national level, she has also earned several silver and bronze club medals. She has been named a Prep Volleyball All-American on three occasions and earned 2023 AAU 16 Open All-America honors. In 2023 and 2024, she was named to the JVA Class of 2026 Watch List and made the JVA all-national team in 2024. As a student at Frisco Centennial High School, Victoriano earned first-team all-district and academic all-district honors all four years.

Outside of playing volleyball, she is a member of the National Honor Society and Gifted & Talented Program and has received the Principal’s Award and President’s Award for Academic Excellence. Victoriano also spends time volunteering with Feed the Hungry Children, PAMANA Filipino nonprofit organization and at St. Jude Catholic Church.

“Both Madi and Jordin have an expectation to win that we’re really excited about,” Nelson said. “They’re driven, articulate young women with incredible support systems, ready to bring their competitive mindset to Vanderbilt Volleyball and build legacies along the way.”
