This was one instance when the members of the WBB team didn’t have a scouting report.
After completing practice on Thursday, the players found out — with no advance warning — that they were participating in a pumping carving challenge.
Within minutes, the players were divided up into two-member teams, and were given 30 minutes to finish their pumpkins.
After the time ran out, the lights were dimmed and candles were put in each pumpkin. Director of basketball operations Jon Erickson’s children — Taylor, Madison, Cailyn and Andrew — served as judges.
The freshman tandem of Christa Reed and Audrey-Ann Caron-Goudreau were awarded first place.
