LAS VEGAS — Vanderbilt’s six representatives at the USBC Team USA Trials all bowled well Thursday with several rising on the leaderboard.
Victoria Varano continues to lead the Commodore contingent, holding down seventh place among the 134 still competing for a berth on Team USA or Junior Team USA.
Caroline Thesier climbed up one spot to 13th and Mabel Cummins is now 17th, recovering from a rough start Tuesday. Jennifer Loredo was steady in 28th place and Alyssa Ballard improved nine spots to 31st. Amelia Kiefer is 46th.
The tournament has two more days of play at the Gold Coast Bowling Center. The top four finishers and two at-large selections will be added to the 2023 Junior Team USA roster.
