NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt men’s basketball announced its 2025-26 nonconference schedule Tuesday, featuring seven matchups at Memorial Gymnasium. The Commodores will open the regular season at home on Nov. 3 against local foe Lipscomb.
Vanderbilt’s home nonconference slate is highlighted by the previously announced SEC/ACC Challenge, pitting the Dores against SMU on Dec. 3 in Memorial Gymnasium. Additional home matchups include Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 12), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Nov. 15), Texas Southern (Nov. 20), Central Arkansas (Dec. 13) and New Haven (Dec. 29).
The Commodores will also host Virginia on Oct. 16 for an open exhibition in Memorial Gymnasium.
The road slate features a slew of high-quality showdowns, beginning with a Nov. 8 trip to UCF. The Dores will also travel to in-state rival Memphis (Dec. 17) and Wake Forest (Dec. 21) as part of the nonconference slate.
Vanderbilt will take part in the Battle 4 Atlantis over the Thanksgiving Holiday in Paradise Island, Bahamas. The Dores will open the three-game MTE against Western Kentucky on Nov. 26.
