NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt men’s basketball will host Virginia in an exhibition matchup on Oct. 16 at Memorial Gymnasium. The exhibition is the first for the Commodores following the rule change permitting programs to play up to two preseason exhibitions.
The sneak peek at the 2025-26 Dores will be open to the public. Ticket information and tip time will be announced at a later date.
Vanderbilt and Virginia have met seven times with the black and gold holding a 5-2 edge in those meetings.
The exhibition matchup kicks off a packed weekend on West End with football hosting LSU Oct. 18 and volleyball hosting SEC matches on Friday and Sunday.
