NASHVILLE, Tenn. – In an annual rite of summer, Vanderbilt will take control of SEC Network on Saturday.
Fans will have a chance to re-watch some of the highlights of the 2023-24 year, including competitions in baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, soccer, football and swimming, while also getting another opportunity to see Vanderbilt Football’s Spring All-Access special.
The takeover begins at 11 p.m. CT Friday (midnight ET Saturday) with the baseball team’s 4-0 win over Mississippi State, a complete-game shutout by hurler Bryce Cunningham. Along the way, fans can also watch Jordyn Cambridge reach 1,000 points, Ezra Manjon take down Texas A&M at the buzzer, Iyanna Moore score 37 points at Kentucky, Kate Devine’s clean sheet against Ole Miss, the VandyBoys’ four-homer win over Tennessee at the SEC Tournament, Rachel Deresky’s brace against Texas A&M, swimming’s senior day and the football team’s two blocked punts against Alabama A&M.
The takeover also includes three airings of the Vanderbilt Football Spring All-Access program, giving fans an unprecedented look at head coach Clark Lea’s squad as they progressed through spring practice.
SEC Network celebrates 10 years this fall as the home of SEC sports. The conference and ESPN/ABC enter a new agreement this fall making the ESPN family of networks the exclusive home of the SEC as the league embarks on a new era with the addition of Texas and Oklahoma as members on July 1.
