Six members of Vanderbilt’s bowling team and assistant coach Josie Earnest will compete for spots on the 2015 Team USA and Junior Team USA beginning Jan. 2.
Former Junior Team USA members Natalie Goodman and Amanda Fry will be joined by teammates Nicole Powell, Kendyll Dellinger, Giselle Poss and Katie Stark.
The team trails will be held at The Orleans in Las Vegas. Practice sessions are scheduled for Jan. 2 and qualifying rounds start Jan. 3. The semi-finals and finals for men and women will be held the evening of Jan. 7. Former Vanderbilt All-American Brittni Hamilton won the event in 2014.
Earnest has been on multiple USA teams and has long been regarded as one of the leading women’s bowling in the country. Goodman and Fry have passed the age limit for Junior Team USA and will be bowling for a berth on the Team USA roster.
