NASHVILLE, Tenn. — No. 19 Vanderbilt men’s basketball visits Missouri on Wednesday night for an 8 p.m. tipoff against the Tigers. The game will air on SEC Network with Dave Neal and Jon Sundvold on the call.

Fans can also tune in on 102.5 The Game and the Vanderbilt Athletics app to listen to Kevin Ingram and Tim Thompson’s view of the action.

NICKEL FOR A QUARTER

  • Tyler Nickel dropped an SEC career-high 25 points to power the victory over Texas A&M.
  • Nickel hit five triples for the sixth time this season, running his season total to 84 made threes. The total is two away from entering the Vandy single season top 10 for made threes.
  • The senior loves seeing the Aggies. In his two games against A&M, Nickel has scored 46 points and hit 12 threes.

OKEREKE ON THE SPOT

  • Scoring, lockdown defense, ball handling, distribution? Whatever the Dores seem to need AK Okereke finds a way to provide.
  • With Tyler Tanner on the bench with four fouls against Texas A&M, Okereke took over the point role and picked up the slack with a 23-point, five-rebound, three-assist and two steal effort.
  • Okereke dropped 15 of his 23 in the second half, including a second-straight dagger three in the final minutes to seal a win.
  • The Cornell grad is averaging 11.1 points in SEC action with 3.5 boards, 1.5 assists and 10 total steals.

20 WINS AGAIN

  • Vanderbilt notched its second consecutive 20-win season under Mark Byington. It’s the first time the Dores have reached the plateau in back-to-back seasons since 2010-11 and 2011-12.
  • Byington is the first head coach to lead the Commodores to 20 wins in each of his first two seasons at the helm in program history.
  • It’s just the ninth time the Dores have ever recorded back-to-back 20-win seasons.
  • The Dores added their 21st win against Texas A&M on Feb. 14. It’s the first time since 2011-12 Vandy has recorded 21 regular season wins.

SERIES HISTORY

  • Vanderbilt heads to Columbia, Mo., looking for its first win in the city. The all-time series sits at 10-9 in favor of Mizzou.
  • The Dores took the most recent meeting late last season behind a late rally. Tyler Nickel hit a three on the final possession of regulation to send the game to overtime.
