Vanderbilt maintained its pre-season fourth place ranking when the December poll of the National Ten Pin Coaches Association (NTCA) was announced Wednesday. The Commodores, 35-16 over the fall schedule, trailed Nebraska, McKendree and Arkansas State in the poll. McKendree and Nebraska swapped places from the fall’s previous ranking.
Vanderbilt has competed in more games than any other program in the Top 25 and is idle over the winter holidays, resuming in mid-January at the Mid-Winter Classic in Jonesboro.
