NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt women’s golf is headed to an NCAA Regional for the eighth-straight season as the Commodores earned the No. 3 seed in the Stanford Regional. Vandy will look to earn its fifth-consecutive NCAA Championship appearance during the regional at Stanford Golf Course May 11-13.
The Dores enter the NCAA Regionals ranked No. 13 in the country, earning the top No. 3 seed in regionals. Stanford sits atop the national rankings and is hosting as the No. 1 overall seed. Also joining the Commodores in Stanford are Pepperdine, Arizona State, Missouri, Arizona, Cal State Fullerton, Illinois, Oregon State, Cal Poly, South Dakota State and Navy.
Vandy heads west for its regional for the first time since 2015 when the Dores landed in Utah. The black and gold is making its second regional appearance at Stanford, finishing third in 2013. Along with the 2013 regional, Vanderbilt has played in seven editions of the Stanford Intercollegiate under head coach Greg Allen.
Vanderbilt enters regionals after finishing tied for seventh at the SEC Championship and advancing to match play for the first time since 2022-23 and the event’s move to Pelican Golf Club.
The Commodores will tee off in the Stanford Regional on Monday, May 11. The top five finishers from each of the six regionals will advance to the National Championship at Omni La Costa in Carlsbad, California.
