On a slow start in the first half:
“They’re really well coached and they were real prepared like they were last year. To see a team disguising their defenses and sagging and switching, playing some zone and some man, we got too focused on what they were doing instead of what we needed to do.”
On Jence Rhoads’ injury:
“She’s seeing a doctor after the game and I don’t know yet.”
On the goal of this game:
“The second game we play to win it, so we don’t always get everyone in, but since we had a big lead, we still got a chance to get everybody in.”
On Christina Foggie:
“She’s smart, like I said, you only have to tell her something once and she does it. She’s starting to get real comfortable with what we do.”
Guard Christina Foggie
On shooting with confidence as a freshman:
“In practice Coach tells the guards to be ready to shoot and she gives as much confidence to freshmen as any other guard. The rest of my teammates had set a lot of great screens for me to get open and I’m just taking advantage.”

On the game:
“I thought it was good. I thought it started out a little slow, but talking to each other and communicating really helped a lot and picked us up.”
On the team:
“I think we’re definitely improving with each game. We have goals after every game and we work on them in practice, so I think we are improving and getting better as a team.”
