Pink Out Flyer | Season Tickets Start at $25
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team will host a “Pink Out” during their nationally televised game against Clemson on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 4 p.m. CT at Memorial Gymnasium.

All fans in attendance are encouraged to join Vanderbilt coaches, players and officials in wearing pink to the game to promote breast cancer awareness. The first 1,500 fans at Memorial Gym also will receive pink “rally towels.”
Half of the proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to research efforts at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
“We are very appreciative of the team’s support for breast cancer awareness and the need for research to improve treatments and preventions of this disease,” said Raymond DuBois, M.D., Ph.D., director of the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. “We hope everyone comes out in pink to show their support for the team and for this cause.”
Head Coach Melanie Balcomb and the Commodores have long been involved in the fight against breast cancer.
Over the weekend, the team made its annual appearance at the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation’s Race for the Cure, helping to sign up racers who wished to celebrate and remember those who have battled breast cancer.
Pink and pink ribbons have become synonymous with raising the awareness of breast cancer, which will impact more than 212,000 women – 4,600 of them in Tennessee – this year, the American Cancer Society estimates.

Televised by ESPN2, the event will generate national exposure for a worthy cause.
In addition to the “Pink Out” elements of the event, Vanderbilt players and coaches also will host a post-game clinic for youth basketball players 17 and under.
Single-game tickets are $5 apiece and can ordered by calling 322-GOLD. They also are available as a part of the season-ticket packages which begin at only $25 per person for 16 home games.
