Vanderbilt Men’s Soccer Ends Season at Southwest Missouri

Springfield, Mo. — Doug Lascody scored three unanswered goals to lead Southwest Missouri to a 4-1 victory over Vanderbilt today. Vanderbilt ends the season 3-10-5, 0-7-2 in the league, while Southwest Missouri owns a 8-7-2 overall mark.

Vanderbilt’s Ryan Paugh tied the game at one when he took a pass from Dustin Siehr and scored at the 38:59 mark. Lascody’s first goal gave Southwest Missouri the lead at halftime 2-1 and then scored two more in the second for win.

Vanderbilt totaled nine shots all on goal, while Southwest Missouri totaled 18 shots, 11 on goal. VU’s Jamie Burns totaled six saves in goal, while Matt Pickens totaled eight saves for Southwest Missouri.
