A Little History of South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association and the Hall of Fame:
With the commitment to the players and coaches of South Jersey High School soccer in mind, the South Jersey Soccer Coach’s Association was started in 1967 by a few who saw what was to come of their sport.  In 1967, there was only a handful of schools in the area playing soccer.  But, this handful of dedicated, enthusiastic coaches had a vision that some day, their sport would succeed.  The South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association over the years has recognized the outstanding coaches, players and officials.  It has given scholarships and held tournaments to further promote the game.  With the signing of incorporation papers in 1990, the South Jersey Hall of Fame opened its own bank account and stepped out of the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association.  It has become an independent entity and its sole purpose is to promote soccer and honor those who have brought honor to South Jersey Soccer.
