FORT WORTH, Texas — Vanderbilt women’s golf finished the 2025 Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate in 11th place after a 9-over-par final round. The Commodores completed the three-round event at 30-over.

“I thought we put up a really good fight for most of the round today,” said head coach Greg Allen. “We got off to a good start and made some clutch putts, but unfortunately, we made some mistakes down the stretch that cost us a better finish. Some of that is bad breaks and some of that is golf swing related. Regardless of what caused it, we need to make sure we learn and grow from it so we can stop doing it.”

Lynn Lim led Vanderbilt on Tuesday with an even-par performance. She placed 67th individually with a 54-hole score of 16-over par.

“I’m really proud of Lynn for responding the way she did today after a rough day yesterday,” said Allen. “That really shows the type of person she is.”

Ava Merrill finished furthest up the leaderboard for the Commodores as she tied for 14th place at 3-over. She holed three birdies in her 2-over Tuesday round. Tillie Claggett, who tied for 23rd overall at 5-over-par, notched a 73-stroke total in her closing round of the tournament.

“Ava was solid for us, like she usually is, and had a nice finish,” said Allen. “Tillie continues to be consistent for us and is really close to bursting through.”

Angelina Tolentino went 4-over in Tuesday’s final round. She finished in 46th overall. Sara Im, who placed 60th individually, also had a 4-over-par round to wrap up the event.

“Although we didn’t finish where we wanted, I do think we are headed in the right direction,” said Allen. “I’m excited to see what this team can do as we head into April and May, our favorite time of year.”

Top-ranked Stanford won the tournament, finishing the week at even par with a 3-under in the third round.

Vanderbilt plays in its final regular-season tournament, the one-day Tennessee Spring Challenge in Knoxville, on April 7 to prepare for the SEC Championships.
