Oct. 1, 2009
The public sale of 2010 SEC men’s basketball tournament tickets lasted just nine minutes on October 1, 2009 before selling out. The next opportunity for Vanderbilt fans to purchase tickets will be through their National Commodore Club membership. Nashville’s Sommet Center, site of the 2010 tournament, is a much smaller venue then many are accustomed to in Atlanta. Therefore, it is likely no more than 10-12% of our National Commodore Club membership will be able to purchase tickets through the Vanderbilt Athletic ticket office allotment.
All seats for this event distributed by Vanderbilt will be allocated based on National Commodore Club priority points. Order forms will be mailed November 1, 2009 to the top 300 members on the priority list. The response deadline will be December 1, 2009. After December 1, should there be ticket availability, additional order forms may be mailed to the next group of members, again based on NCC priority. Placement of an order will NOT guarantee you will receive tickets, but it is the best way to ensure consideration.
Continue to monitor vucommodores.com for updates related to the tournament.
