NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Before the newly reinstated Vanderbilt volleyball team takes the court in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the AVCA First Serve Showcase, the Commodores will play two exhibition matches in Memorial Gymnasium.
On Aug. 15, Vanderbilt will play Fisk at 3 p.m. There will be an internal Black versus Gold scrimmage on Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public. Exhibitions will be general admission with no reserved seating.
Volleyball head coach Anders Nelson will host a pre-match chalk talk for season ticket holders and program donors prior to the Black and Gold Scrimmage on Aug. 19.
Gates will open one hour prior to first serve. Fans can enter through Gates 1, 3, 6, 10 and 11.
Match day parking is free and will be in the 25th Avenue Garage. Access to parking garages will be permitted two hours prior to the start of the match.
Limited concessions will be available in the North Lobby (near sections A-E) and South Lobby (near sections G-K).
