Two Tabbed All-America

Isabel Allen, Victoria Varano were honored on the second and third teams

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt Bowling’s Isabel Allen and Victoria Varano were NTCA All-America selections, the organization announced Thursday. Allen was named to the second team, and Varano earned a spot on the third team.

During the 2024-25 season, Allen, primarily in the leadoff spot, and Varano helped the Commodores capture two regular season tournament titles. Both student-athletes contributed to the Dores setting a school record for high team traditional game and bowling a 299 Baker game.

In five years of collegiate bowling, Allen has been named a second-team All-American on three occasions and was an All-America honorable mention in 2021 as a freshman. Also named to the 2024-25 All-CUSA second team, she made a team-high four all-tournament teams this season, which included a first-place finish at the Prairie View Invitational. She was also tabbed the CUSA Co-Bowler of the Month in January and was named to the CUSA All-Academic Bowling Team.

Varano, a third-team selection this year, earned a spot on the 2024 All-America second team as a sophomore and was an honorable mention All-American her freshman season. This season, she registered two top 10 individual finishes and made the Music City Classic All-Tournament Team. Varano also earned a spot on the All-CUSA third team.
