NASHVILLE, Tenn. — LSU had five individuals score in double figures Saturday in defeating Vanderbilt 75-61 in SEC men’s basketball action at Memorial Gymnasium.
Jordan Wright led the Tigers (16-13, 8-8 SEC) with 15 points and seven rebounds, with Jalen Reed contributing 13 and six, respectively, as well. LSU also got 10 points each from Will Baker, Tyrell Ward and Mike Williams III.
Tyrin Lawrence paced the Commodores (8-21, 3-13 SEC) with a game-high 21 points, his team-leading sixth outing with 20 or more points this season. Ezra Manjon chipped in with 17 points also, the fifth time in the last six contests this senior has scored in double digits.
LSU made 10 3-point field goals and finished with a 41-29 rebounding advantage, limiting the Dores to just 3-of-21 shooting from beyond the arc and 36.4 percent overall from the field.
The Commodores’ final regular season road game will come at Kentucky, with tip-off Wednesday on SEC Network scheduled for 8 p.m. CT.
