Three Commodores Make Junior Gold Cut

INDIANAPOLIS, IN—Three Vanderbilt bowlers survived the first cut at the USBC Junior Gold Tournament, proceeding to Friday morning’s Advancer Round.

Jordan Newham was the biggest mover Thursday, jumping all the way to 19th in this field of 792. Incoming freshman Adel Wahner was 47th, Bryanna Leyen 84th with the top 114 moving ahead. Sophomore Kasey Eaton was the program’s only casualty.

The next cut comes mid-day Friday when the field is trimmed for the Final Advancer’s Round to the top 64. More cuts will follow and will be documented on bowl.com.
