NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt volleyball’s Isabella Bareford, Elli Kinney and Jackie Moore were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, which was announced Tuesday.
To be eligible for academic all-district honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore athletically and academically and maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average. Additionally, nominees must have played in 90 percent or started 66 percent of the team’s matches.
While redshirting at Vandy during the 2024–25 academic year, all three Dores made the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll.
Bareford graduated in December with a master’s in medicine, health and society. She earned her undergraduate degree in health and human sciences at Loyola Marymount and was named to the Dean’s List on five occasions. This season, Bareford notched double-doubles in five matches and recorded a season-high 59 assists against Cal. Bareford is ranked top 15 nationally across all divisions, and top 5 in NCAA Division I in career assists with 4,287. While competing at LMU, she garnered first-team All-West Coast Conference honors in 2020 and 2022 and was named to the second team in 2021 and 2023, and WCC All-Freshman team in 2020. She made the Academic All-WCC first team in 2022 and 2023 and was an honorable mention in 2021.
Kinney, who started her collegiate career at Charleston, is a junior majoring in human and organizational development at Vanderbilt. She has been named to the Dean’s List twice. This season, she led Vanderbilt in digs with 278. Kinney averaged a 2.49 passing score in 2025 with a 62.6 good pass percentage, which is tied for third among SEC liberos. Kinney recorded a career-high 20 digs vs. South Carolina and had 10 or more digs in 14 matches this season.
This season, Moore, a senior political science major, led Vanderbilt in kills (334), blocks (105) and hitting efficiency (.389). Against Mississippi State, she registered a career-high 31 kills, the most by an NCAA DI middle since 2015. At the SEC Volleyball Tournament, she led the Dores with 36 kills (3.60 per set) and 16 blocks (1.60 per set) while hitting .492. Moore earned spots on the All-SEC Second Team and All-South Region First Team. She was also named the SEC Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year. At LMU, Moore was two-time All-Pacific South Region and All-WCC honoree. She was also named to the 2021 WCC All-Freshman Team. She was a member of the LMU Dean’s List from 2021 to 2024 and was named to the Vanderbilt Dean’s List twice. From 2021 to 2023, Moore made the WCC All-Academic Team.
Moore will advance to the ballot for the CSC Academic All-America Team, which will be announced on Jan. 13.
