Every fall before the start of final exams, Vanderbilt student-athletes host elementary school children for the annual SAAC holiday party.
This year’s event took place Friday as student-athletes from every team welcomed first-graders from Caldwell Enhanced Option Elementary School in East Nashville. The children were treated to a story from Santa and his elf and then received gifts and played games with student-athletes.
“The kids have been looking forward to this for a long time,” said Ms. Marlowe, a first grade teacher at Caldwell Enhanced Option Elementary. “They are always excited for this day.”
