Rising senior Lauren Stratton is in second place at the Tennessee Women’s Open and trails leader Haley Ann Wilson of Fort Mitchell, Ala., by one stroke with a total score of 139 (69-70). Stratton, who led after the first round on Thursday at the Stonehenge Golf Club in Crossville, Tenn., has a two stroke lead on Amanda Steinhagen of Oak Hill, Va., who is in third place.
Wilson surged into the second-round lead after posting a six-under, 67, on Friday.
Rising sophomore Kendall Martindale, the 2011 Tennessee Open champion, is in a tie for fifth and has a one-under par, 143 (70-73) after two rounds.
The final round of the tournament will take place on Saturday.
