Tom Howard
Associate Athletic Director • Facilities and Event Management
Tom Howard arrived to Vanderbilt in 2016 and currently serves as associate athletic director of facilities and event management.
Howard oversee facilities and event management team for operations of all athletics facilities, game management, postseason bidding and tournament management and facility rentals. He is the primary game manager for home football events.
Howard has coordinated multiple postseason and tournament events for Vanderbilt, including baseball, men’s tennis and women’s tennis, and soccer.
Howard worked at UCF from 2015-16 as assistant director of facilities and event operations and at Georgia State from 2013-15 as a graduate assistant for facilities and events.
He worked the Bahamas Bowl in 2018 and 2021 as part of a game operations staff that prepped the facilities and fields for practice and competition, and served as a team liaison.
Howard graduated from Seton Hall in 2012 with a degree in business administration. He earned a graduate degree in sport administration from Georgia State in 2015.
The Red Hook, New York, native lives in Nashville with his wife, Brailey.
