Sam Jordan

Sam Jordan was hired as content creator with Vanderbilt Athletics in April 2025.

He had previously worked with the department on numerous occasions as a freelance photographer assisting with both event coverage and photo shoots, and has also managed freelance assignments for athletic departments at Florida, Oklahoma, Tennessee State. Jordan also has experience shooting for ESPN, Disney, the NCAA, Associated Press and Athlon Communications on the national level, and has worked with The Tennessean, Nashville City Paper, Urban League of Middle Tennessee and the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Prior to coming to Vanderbilt, he also served as sales manager for Pixel Connection for more than three years and had nearly three years of experience as director of sales and operations at Dury’s Photo Technologies.

Jordan is a graduate of Austin Peay, where he earned a degree in business administration.
