Michael West
Associate Athletic Director • Ticket Operations
Michael West, a veteran of sports and entertainment ticketing for more than three decades, serves as Vanderbilt’s associate athletic director for ticket operations. In this capacity, West oversees Vanderbilt’s ticketing staff and handles ticketing operations for Vanderbilt’s ticketed athletic contests and special events.
West joined Vanderbilt Athletics in 2008 as assistant ticket manager following a two-year stint as director of patron services at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, where he oversaw operations in ticketing, guest services, concessions, and group sales.
Prior to moving to Nashville, West spent 13 years in various ticketing roles with the NBA’s New Jersey Nets, beginning his career as an intern and eventually rising to director of ticket services during a period when the Nets advanced to two NBA Finals.
A graduate of FDU-Florham, West and his wife, Kelly Ann, reside in Nashville and have two grown children.
