Lauren Belisle joined Vanderbilt in 2021 as senior associate athletic director for fan experience and sales.
She is responsible for the direct supervision of Vanderbilt’s ticketing, marketing, in-game experience, group sales, fan engagement and hospitality, and broadcast production. Belisle serves as the department contact for Learfield IMG, Vanderbilt’s multimedia rights partner.
Belisle joined Vanderbilt after serving as associate athletic director for marketing and fan development at Virginia Tech, where she managed the Hokies’ marketing and ticket departments while assuming responsibility for revenue generation, fan experience initiatives and branding efforts inclusive of strategic planning, advertising strategy and spends, website, ticket sales planning and pricing, digital media and marketing, community outreach and campaign planning, among many other duties. She also oversaw the spirit squad program.
Belisle was a member of Virginia Tech’s senior staff and external leadership team, and secondary sport administrator for the wrestling program. She served on various campus committees for collaboration of events and university initiatives, including: Alumni Association Reunions, University Master Brand Steering Committee, Family Weekend activities, and New Student and Family Programs events.
When Belisle served as the assistant director of marketing at Iowa State, she oversaw marketing efforts for the women’s volleyball and women’s basketball programs. She also managed the corporate hospitality tent tailgate program for home football games, spearheaded group sales efforts for football, coordinated football game day on-field presentations, and served as the athletics advisor for the student basketball organization, Cyclone Alley.
Prior to her stint at Iowa State, Belisle served as assistant director of marketing at Virginia Tech, where she oversaw marketing of the volleyball, wrestling and baseball programs.
Before her initial position at Virginia Tech, Belisle served as the marketing associate at Iowa State and oversaw marketing efforts for the women’s volleyball, women’s gymnastics and the kids’ club programs, along with managing the social media accounts, overseeing student interns, and coordinating the pregame football fan experience area.
Belisle, an active member of NACMA and Women Leaders in College Sports, graduated in 2008 from Florida State with a degree in public relations. She began her career as a marketing and promotions intern with the Seminoles in 2007.
