Cheresse Kincaid
Athletic Trainer (Swimming)
Cheresse Kincaid joined the Commodore sports medicine staff in 2019.
Kincaid came to Vanderbilt from Central Michigan where she was the associate athletic trainer working with women’s basketball, cheer and volleyball. Prior to her time at Central Michigan, Kincaid held positions at Texas Wesleyan, Concordia (Texas) and Rockwall Heath High School. Other stops include internships at the Andrews Institute and South Carolina.
Kincaid received her bachelor’s degree from Cal State San Bernardino in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science in 2006. She went on to obtain her master’s degree in athletic training from the Texas Tech Health Science Center in 2012.
Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Kincaid became a certified athletic trainer in 2012. She is an American Red Cross CPR/AED and first aid instructor, and holds certifications in KinesioTape, Graston and wound closure and suturing for the novice and training in myofascial decompression and the fascial distortion model.
