Freshman (2016-17):
Played in 25 rounds this season and averaged 77.52 strokes per round… Low round of the season came in second round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown with a 68… Had best finish of her freshman season in Las Vegas with a tie for 21st-place finish.

Amateur and High School Highlights:
Armstrong comes to Vanderbilt from Tampa, Fla., where she attended Cambridge Christian, and was ranked 38th in Golfweek’s top 50 recruits for the class of 2016 and was top five among all Florida high school seniors… Armstrong had eight top-10 AJGA finishes, including a top three result at 2015 Toyota Music City Open and a win at the 2013 Bass Pro Payne Stewart Open… In 2015, she set her school scoring record of 67 at the Mustang Invitational.

Born June 18, 1997… Hometown is Tampa… Daughter of Jeff and Jan Armstrong… Plans to major in Economics… Chose the Commodores over Florida, Florida State, Missouri, Michigan State and Virginia.
